Description

Windermere Lake Cruises is the largest tourist attraction in Cumbria and employs a wide variety of permanent, specialist and seasonal staff.

As well as offering an impressive range of roles, all our employees enjoy great benefits, flexible working practices and get to work in a stunning location in the heart of The Lake District. If you’d like to work on and around England’s largest lake, have the enthusiasm to provide a world-class service and provide a unique customer experience then please get in touch.

The summer season operates from the end of March to November and there will be a range of positions available for this busy time.

We’re looking for friendly and outgoing people to assist with the smooth running of our busy operation and to ensure that our visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience with us. No experience necessary - we’ll teach you what to do.

Available positions include crew to work on board our vessels in coffee shops, bars and to check passenger tickets. We also require staff for ticket offices, cafés, shops, information centres and the Bowness road train including PCV licenced drivers.

So, if you’re not afraid of a bit of hard work, can smile and be helpful to our visitors, why not apply today?

Positions are available at Ambleside, Bowness and Lakeside. Due to the nature of the business, weekends and some evening work will be necessary.
