HLF seeks input on third round of Skills for the Future funding

16 December 2015

In order to help shape the scope of the next round of the Skills for the Future programme the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) will be consulting with the sector over the next couple of months about the most effective ways to address current skills shortages and needs and to bring new people into the workforce. This includes a workshop in the new year on Tuesday 19 January 2016, to be held at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations Society Building, 8 All Saints Street, London, 11 am – 4pm.

A round table discussion will be looking to

  • Provide feedback on HLF commissioned research
  • Facilitate a consultation exercise exploring some of current thinking around skills development in the heritage sector.
  • Discuss mechanisms for sharing information to help future applicants and strategic bodies

If you would like to attend either day then please email skills@hlf.org.uk.  For those that are unable to attend a round table event the HLF will be providing an online survey to enable people to provide comments and give your views. This will be distributed shortly.
