Always a Catch: a Museum Megagame, Saturday 20th May

Calling all tabletop and megagamers!

The year is 1808. The industries of Scotland are about the enter their greatest boom and your coastal village needs to survive long into the future. Your task is to guide them from humble beginnings into the socioeconomic powerhouse they could become. Join our historical game of diplomacy, commerce and competition and immerse yourself in 19th Century industry. Will you be a fisherman competing for the catch, a harbourmaster managing the sudden influx of boats and workers, or even the Lord Provost, overseeing your town’s development? Come along and discover the ins and outs of the growth in the fishing industry of the time and who knows, you could ensure your town goes down in history!

Always a Catch: a Museum Megagame will take place at the Scottish Fisheries Museum on Saturday 20th May between 10am and 5pm

Ticket price: £20 includes refreshments
