Jobs

The Shipshape Network offers free advertising space for historic vessel owners and companies on the National Directory of Skills & Services to publicise job/volunteer opportunities.

As well as permanent staff positions, we can publish work placements, volunteering opportunities and procurement tenders.  To advertise or look for professional crew opportunities, please visit our 'Crew' pages at: http://www.shipshapenetwork.org.uk/pages/crew.html

If you have a skill to offer, or a particular interest, we can also advertise for positions wanted and upload a copy of your CV. Please indicate which category your advert falls into when emailing us the particulars. Advertised vacancies will be automatically removed after the closing date.

Please email: info@shipshapenetwork.org.uk with details of the relevant position and we will post the vacancy on these pages. All vacancies are publicised via our associated social media networks and may also be circulated to our mailing lists (over 2,000 specialist contacts) or published in our eNewsletter.

In order for us to post a vacancy, you will need to specify:

  • Job Description
  • Essential qualifications
  • Salary (if applicable)
  • Job Location
  • Length of contract
  • How to apply
  • Closing date
  • Name of key contact

If you are responding to a vacancy, please email the relevant contact using the details provided in the advert and do not send your application to the Shipshape Network address as we will be unable to process it. However, we would be pleased to hear your feedback on any successful outcomes in your job search.
